The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.

A motion was made by Amy Kuhnel to waive the reading of the minutes. It was seconded by Steven Gunther, the motion was passed.

The June 21st beach raft up ended up being a poor anchorage (poor holding of anchors and bouncy from passing power boat wakes). We will not try this location again but will continue to look for sites where a beach raft up is possible in a more protected water.

There will be a Nautical Swap Meet at the Labor Day Picnic.

Everyone who came to the Independence Day Picnic had a great time.

We still have a few burgees left for $17.80 each.  See Chris for a burgee.

Vice Commodore Steve Trofemuk

There will be a Raft Up at the AYC cove, July 19th beginning at 6:00 p.m.

The Commodore’s Ball will be held November 8, 2025.  Renae Gunter has asked for assistance in the set-up of tables and chairs, decorating tabletops and room, and later taking down the chairs and tables.  An evite will be going out soon so you can sign up.

July 26th is an open date on the calendar so we have added a morning sail/motor up to JD’s for lunch. JD’s is busy on weekends so the plan is to get there by 11:00 a.m. to get dock space and a table.  It is approximately 6.5 miles to JD’s so plan on an hour and a half to get there.

Saturday, August 2nd, there is a raft up.

Every Thursday, for those who want to participate, there is a Sunset sail (5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.)

August 9th is the Half Yard sail

Fleet Captain Bruce Lane

Summer Race #4 – July 12th (skippers meeting at 10:00 a.m.)
