The St. Thomas Cruise was April 25, 26 and 27, 2025.  Friday afternoon under cloudy skies, the boats headed to Victoria Harbor Marina and docked at the fuel dock.  Brian and Amy, Mike and Susan and Mike Dixon met at Sunset Grill for dinner. Saturday, Ed and Becky joined the sailing group and we all had lunch at JD’s.  Anchored and beached at Sweetwater Cove for the night.

There is a sail scheduled on Lake Hartwell for June 6 thru 8th.  We will be joined by some folks from Western Carolina Sailing Club. We are hoping for an invitation to use their facility but we if don’t, we will launch from Green Pond Landing. Honeymoon Cove is a great anchorage on this lake.

We still have a few burgees left for $17.80 each.  See Chris for a burgee.

Vice Commodore Steve Trofemuk

Sunset Sails have resumed, every Thursday, weather permitting.

The Florida 120 is May 14 -18, 2025 in Pensacola, Florida.  Currently, four boats from SWSC have signed up for this cruise.

We are having a Memorial Day Picnic at Harbor Town picnic area.  Commodore Chris will be doing pulled pork BBQ.  Everyone is to bring a side dish to share.

A “Beach Raft Up” on June 21, 2025. Those participating will beach their boats on the north shore of the lake (north of Harbor Town Island).  The plan for this raft up is to start it around 3:00 p.m. to allow trailer sailors time to pull their boats from the water before dark.   The tentative date for this is June 21, 2025. The other raft-ups on the calendar will be like previous raft ups.
